There are no listings here yet, and that is deliberate.

Why it’s empty

We could fill this page tonight by copying studio names and portfolios off Instagram. Plenty of directories do. We’re not going to, for two reasons.

Your portfolio is your work and your livelihood. Lifting it to pad out a launch isn’t ours to do, and being listed somewhere you never agreed to is a nuisance rather than a favour.

And a listing nobody agreed to is worth nothing to the person reading it. If we can’t say who verified a detail and when, it shouldn’t be on the page. That goes for opening hours, styles, pricing and availability.

What a listing will and won’t be

• Yours to control. You send what appears, you can change it, you can have it removed without an argument.
• No rankings, ratings or “best of” lists. We haven’t sat in anyone’s chair, so any order would be invented.
• No reviews until there are real ones. No seeded ratings, ever.
• No paid placement above unpaid. If that ever changes it’ll be labelled on the page, not in a footer.
• Styles as you describe them, not as we guess from your feed.
